Nutri Eskimo Kids (omega-3+6+9 oils)
Pure natural omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 with vitamins D & E
Eskimo Kids is a pure, natural, essential fatty acid nutritional supplement formulated specifically for children up to the age of 12. Because a child's brain and nervous system has different fatty acid requirements whilst it is growing, Eskimo Kids reflects these needs with a balance of omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, which provide the 'building blocks' essential to growth and development. Eskimo Kids contains antioxidants to protect its stability, and it comes in a natural tutti-frutti flavour that kids will love.
Nutri Eskimo Kids contains soy (oil) and fish (oil)
Children from 1-12 years of age:1 x 5ml teaspoon with a meal
Nutritional Supplement Ingredients typically per 5ml teaspoon
1200mg Omega-3 fatty acids from natural fish oil, of which: 410mg Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), 280mg Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), 230mg Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA), 510 Omega-6 fatty acids from rapeseed oil, of which: 500mg Linoleic acid, 1400mg Omega-9 fatty acid (Oleic acid), 200iu Vitamin D and 10iu Vitamin E (natural mixed tocopherols). Other ingredients: Ascorbyl palmitate, lecithin, natural flavouring (from orange, raspberry, lemon and cherry oils).
Derived from fresh deep-sea fish and purified to reduce environmental heavy metal toxins.
Why do children need omega-3 oil?
There is substantial evidence that a low fatty acid intake can contribute to mood disorders as well as behavioural problems and serious learning difficulties in children, e.g. dyslexia, dyspraxia, autistic spectrum disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity (ADHA) disorder.
Eskimo Kids is specifically formulated for optimal brain and eye nutrition and therefore may help to improve:
- attention and concentration
- mood and memory
These omega oils may also be helpful for immunity, autoimmune and allergic conditions, as well as dry skin conditions including dandruff and eczema.
Features of Eskimo Kids:
- The fish oil used in Eskimo Kids is from fresh, deep-sea fish and not from cultivated fish.
- The oil in Eskimo Kids has been purified to reduce environmental toxins such as mercury and pesticides, like PCBs and DDT, to well below the current acceptable levels.
- Contains Vitamin D, an essential nutrient for healthy bone development in the growing child.
- Added vitamin E helps t maintain the stability of the oil, which keeps it fresh for longer.
- Natural tutti-frutti flavour from orange, raspberry, lemon and cherry oils.
Caution: Do not exceed the Nutritional Supplement Recommended Intake. Not recommended for epileptics or haemophiliacs. Consult with a medical doctor if on anticoagulant medication.
Here's what one parent said after failing miserably in getting her children to swallow any alternative brands. Does it sound familiar?:
"I have a child diagnosed with ADHD & dyspraxia. After having spent a fortune on omega 3 preparations he won't take I was interested in your Eskimo kids supplement . . .
. . . The package arrived today, I've had a sniff and it's not too bad or too gloopy. Giving it a try in the morning so will let you know. . .
. . . I am happy to report that both children are taking Eskimo kids nutritional supplement. . . my Mum thinks he seems more focused. I have noticed a great reduction in the 'bobbley skin' they both suffered on top of arms and legs which precedes a bout of eczema, My daughter is thrilled as she has stopped itching and no longer uses cream to control this.
I would like to say thanks once again for the bottle you sent me and I am placing an order tonight as we are about to run out. Feel free to let any other undecided parents have this information as I would definitely recommend this product. Will let you know if my son's symptoms decrease, another few weeks should decide it. Fingers crossed. - JH
