Features:
A major pathway of Phase II activity in the liver is the conjugation of toxins with glucuronide (a sugar) - the glucuronidation pathway. The enzyme beta-glucuronidase, when produced by gut bacteria, can de-conjugate the glucuronide-toxin complex, freeing toxic substances in the gut, which may cause damage locally or be reabsorbed systemically. Calcium D-Glucarate has been shown to inhibit the activity of beta-glucuronidase.
Calcium D-Glucarate is also a source of absorbable calcium.
Recommendation:
1-3 capsules with meals three times daily, or as directed.
