Lamberts Time Release Vitamin C
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, has several important functions including protecting cells and keeps them healthy, maintaining healthy skin, blood vessels, bones and cartilage and helping with wound healing
Lack of vitamin C can lead to scurvy. Mild deficiencies may occur in infants given un-supplemented cows' milk and in people with poor or restricted diets.
Requirement for vitamin C is higher than for any other water-soluble vitamin and needs to be taken in small amounts throughout the day and night because it is rapidly lost from the body, which is not always convenient.
This is why Lamberts have formulated Lamberts Time Release Vitamin C tablets, which gradually release over 6 hours so the product acts for longer. Lamberts Time Release Vitamin C tablets also provide citrus bioflavonoids because vitamin C and bioflavonoids are most effective when taken together.
