BioCell Collagen utilizes a patented Bio-Optimized™ process, which ensures increased bioavailability as well as rapid absorption into the body, increasing potency. In addition, more than 20 clinical studies, including four human clinical trials directly on BioCell Collagen, support its effectiveness and safety in promoting joint health and skin beauty.
Unlike other ingredients such as glucosamine, which is only a partial approach to complex joint conditions involving the deterioration of both cartilage and synovial fluid, Joint & Skin Matrix™, made with BioCell Collagen®, offers comprehensive support for healthy joints through a synergy among hydrolyzed collagen type II, low molecular weight (LMW) Hyaluronic Acid (HA), and chondroitin sulfate in a patented composition. Joint & Skin Matrix™, made with BioCell Collagen’s uniquely different properties, provide more complete nutritional support.
It is important to note that not all collagen is created the same. There are many collagen supplements available which lack clinical evidence and that have a very different molecular makeup than Joint & Skin Matrix™.
Collagen in its native or unhydrolyzed form has a large molecular structure making it difficult to absorb and utilize. Also, other collagen supplements do not have the synergistic benefit of naturally occurring HA and chondroitin sulfate like BioCell Collagen does.
BioCell Collagen undergoes a patented manufacturing process, which reduces the molecular size to a specific range that allows for easy digestion, fast action, and effective results. This unique composition has been granted patent protection and has undergone human clinical trials proving its efficacy.
Always look for the BioCell Collagen logo on the product label.
What is Collagen?
Collagen is the main structural protein of the various connective tissues, accounting for around 30% of the protein content of the human body. It is often considered to be the "glue that holds the body together".
Collagen is found in many parts of the body in the fibrous tissues such as skin, ligaments and tendons, as well as in the bones, blood vessels, the cornea of the eye, and in the gut.
Collagen is vital for strengthening blood vessels and giving skin its elasticity and strength. The reduction of collagen causes wrinkles and other skin issues as well as joint problems.
