Is Floradix and Floravital the same?

Floradix Floravital Liquid Iron Formula contains organic iron (II) from ferrous gluconate, with Vitamin C and the B vitamins B1, B2, B6 and B12. Unlike Floradix Liquid Iron Formula 500ml, it does not contain yeast, gluten or honey, making it the perfect alternative for those individuals who may have gluten or yeast intolerances.

What is Floravital good for?

Iron, vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Iron also contributes to haemoglobin and normal red blood cell formation when supported by vitamins B6 and B12. Furthermore, vitamin C increases iron absorption.

For best results take this iron formula on an empty stomach to ensure maximum absorption; thirty minutes before eating or a couple of hours after. Avoid taking iron supplements with milk, coffee or tea as they may hinder the absorption. Drinking orange or fruit juice along iron supplements helps to increase the absorption of iron due to the level of vitamin C

Adults & children 12+ years: Take 10 ml twice daily.
Children 6–12 years: Take 10 ml once daily.
Children 3–5 years: Take 5 ml once daily.

Aqueous Extract (70%) from: Hibiscus Calyces, Camomile Flowers, Fennel, Spinach. Mixture of fruit concentrates (27%) of: Grape, Pear, Water, Blackcurrant juice, Cherry, Blackberry, Carrots. Other Ingredients: Iron II (Ferrous), Gluconate, Aqueous Rosehip soft extract (containing 4% Vitamin C) Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCI), Riboflavin (as Riboflavin Sodium Phosphate), Vitamin B1 (as Thiamin HCI), Vitamin B12, Maltodextrin.
