VAT after Brexit for EU customers

Friday, 1 January 2021  |  Editor

THESE CHANGES DO NOT AFFECT CUSTOMERS IN THE UK OR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE EU.

With effect from 1 January 2021, we will no longer be charging VAT (Currently at the rate of 20%) for customers within the European Union. The cost of goods on our site includes VAT but you will also see the price if you do not have to pay VAT. This lower price, reduced by 20% VAT, will be the price you see in your basket once you have selected your delivery country.

NOTES

  • The cost of goods on our site includes VAT but you will also see the price if you do not have to pay VAT. This lower price without VAT will be the price you see in your basket once you have selected your delivery country.
  • Instead of paying UK VAT you will be subject to customs rates in your own country, which you will need to pay on delivery. These may be higher or lower that 20% depending upon the rates in your country.
  • There may also be a lower limit so that if your purchase is below that limit, no duty will be payable.
  • It is your responsibility check how this affects you in your country. Useful information can be found here.
