About 60% of the magnesium in your body is found in bone and the rest is in muscles, soft tissues and fluids, including blood. Every cell in your body contains magnesium and needs it to function.
Magnesium deficiency can cause many health problem. This deficiency may be because of inadequate intake from food or loss of magnesium from the body. Yet only about 50% of people do not get the recommended daily amount of magnesium from the food they eat.
