What is Urticalcin good for?
It has a number of uses as a herbal food supplement. It helps to strengthen and improve the appearance and function of nails and may also be used to support healthy hair growth. It takes its name from the stinging nettle plant, Urtica dioica, and helps the body take advantage of the silica and calcium salts present in the diet.
What is silica?
It is a substance most often associated with strong hair and nails and can be taken in the form of tablets or gels. It is presented in this product, in combination with calcium, sodium salts, and the aforementioned stinging nettle herb, Urtica.
Adults: Suck or chew three tablets twice daily, allowing them to dissolve in the mouth.
Children 2-12 years: Suck or chew one tablet twice daily, allowing it to dissolve in the mouth.
Extracts of Urtica, Silica, Calcium Carbonate (from molluscs), Calcium Phosphate & Sodium Phosphate. Also contains Lactose, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source) and Pregelatinised Potato Starch to 100 mg.
Allergen Information: This product contains lactose, so is therefore unsuitable for those who are lactose intolerant.
