- Fungal skin infections.
How do you use spilanthes for Candida?
Fungal conditions can be quite hard to shift, manifesting both externally and internally, where they cause digestive problems such as bowel disposes. Taken internally with acidophilus and A.Vogel Original Molkosan Prebiotic Drink, whilst following a sensible anti-candida eating plan, this remedy can help to boost resistance to fungal infections.
Is spilanthes anti viral?
Spilanthes contains an essential oil, spilanthole, which is anti-inflammatory in its action. It also contains tannic acid, which has an astringent action. Traditionally it has been used externally to relieve pain and swelling, on account of these properties. Alfred Vogel noticed that the Javaras, an Indian tribe, used the herb to treat fungal skin conditions. He accordingly formulated the herb into a tincture to be used for external fungal infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm and nail infections. It is also used in Oral Hygiene as a mouthwash for mouth ulcers and oral thrush.
Internal: 20 drops twice daily, in a little water.
External: Dab liberally onto the affected area, undiluted 2 to 5 times daily.
As a mouthwash: 30 drops - gargle for one minute, 2 to 4 times a day.
