As one of Alfred Vogel’s original remedies, this much loved prebiotic has been made from whey obtained from organic milk. It is based on a formula with a long history of use in healthcare, which dates as far back as the time of Hippocrates in 400 B.C.

What is Molkosan good for?
It is rich in a substance known as L+ lactic acid which is produced by lactic acid bacteria in the human gut. L+ lactic acid maintains the acidity of the gut at the right level and acts as a prebiotic by allowing good gut bacteria to thrive, encouraging their growth. The better the levels of L+, the better the body will be able to support a healthy population of good gut bacteria. This in turn promotes efficient digestion.
How many times can you drink Molkosan?
There is no restriction on the long term use. It is recommended to take one tablespoon of 1 to 3 times a day. However, in most cases once is enough.
This product is concentrated and needs to be diluted to make a drink:
- Add 2 teaspoons to a glass of mineral water for a refreshing drink.
- Or add 2 teaspoons to half a glass of apple juice. Top up with mineral water
- Or mash fresh fruit in a blender, add 1 tablespoon of Molkosan and fill with mineral water.
- Or prepare a fruit tea of your choice with honey and add 2 teaspoons of Molkosan. Drink warm or with ice.
