A.Vogel Dormeasan Valerian-Hops

This traditional herbal medicinal product has been made from extracts of freshly harvested, organically grown Valerian root and hops. It gets its name from the Latin word 'domire' meaning 'to sleep'.

It can help if you worry that you can't Sleep. Try taking it half an hour before you go to bed and it should encourage a more natural nights sleep.

How much valerian and hops should I take to sleep?

Take thirty drops of Dormeasan thirty minutes before retiring to bed. Having a bottle of Dormeasan to hand in circumstances when you cannot sleep means that you can be ready to act quickly.

Does valerian help anxiety?

This product may also be used to relieve the symptoms of mild Anxiety. The recommended dosage for anxiety is lower than the dosage for sleep issues because taking higher doses of Valerian during the day may potentially lead to daytime drowsiness.

Directions of Use

As a sleep remedy: Adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly, take thirty drops of the herbal remedy in a little water half an hour before bedtime.

For mild anxiety: Adults (over 18 years of age) and the elderly, take between ten to twenty drops once or twice daily.

Ingredients

1 ml of Dormeasan oral liquid (equivalent to 35 drops) contains:

  • Valerian Root Tincture 0.5Ml (Valeriana Officinalis L.) (1:10-11) Extraction Solvent: Ethanol 58%V/V
  • Hops Strobile Tincture 0.5Ml (Humulus Lupulus L.) (1:12-13) Extraction Solvent: Ethanol 65% V/V

Other ingredients: Water and Ethanol.

  • Don't take more than the recommended dose.
  • Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • May be potentially harmful for those suffering from alcoholism. 
  • Do not use if you are already taking medication for disturbed sleep or insomnia, or another herbal sleep remedy.
