LEG ULCERS

About Leg Ulcers

Leg ulcers are more likely to develop in people with poor circulation, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins or diabetes.

Nutrition Facts & Diet Advice for Leg Ulcers

Consider the following nutrition guidelines:

  • Eat a high fibre diet with plenty of raw and lightly steamed vegetables.

  • Especially eat dark green leafy vegetables and alfalfa.

  • Garlic and onions improve circulation and promote healing.  Their germanium content boosts the immune system and improves delivery of oxygen to the diseased tissues.

  • Avoid sugar and all refined foods.

  • Some people may not like the idea, but you may find the use of urine used topically very useful.

Health Supplements for Leg Ulcers
