Directions for use
Take one to four capsules daily, after food, or as directed by a practitioner.

375mg is considered to be the optimum RDA for Magnesium. The average British Diet is noted to only deliver 267mg of magnesium, compared to the conservative Government RDA of 375mg.

Nutrigold Magnesium Citrizorb is made from only premium quality, high absorption, organic minerals that are free from Lactose, nuts and wheat and gluten.

This formula is is suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.

Product Cautions
For therapeutic doses greater than 400mg: It is noted that levels in excess of 400mg of elemental Magnesium may in some cases cause mild stomach upset in sensitive individuals. However, we believe that the chemical form employed in supplementation may play a big role here. Most magnesium is supplied as magnesium oxide, a poorly absorbed form of magnesium which is known to have a mild laxative effect on the body.

Nutrigold Magnesium Citrizorb

Magnesium (macro-mineral) biological functions:

  • Magnesium is a cofactor in many enzyme systems including those for protein synthesis and anaerobic and aerobic energy metabolism.

  • It also regulates the movement of potassium in myocardial cells and there is some evidence of its involvement in the synthesis of RNA and DNA.

  • Magnesium plays a key role in supporting the activities of our muscles, nerves, white blood cells, spleen, thymus, and antibodies.

Dietary sources of Magnesium:

  • Magnesium is present in a wide variety of foods.
  • Magnesium is found in particularly high levels in shell fish, with meats and dairy produce containing less. As for supplementation we recommend our organic, high absorption magnesium product – Magnesium Citrizorb® 100mg (elemental weight).
