Eskimo Skin Care contains omega 3, 6 and 9, together with vitamins D and E. It
also contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA) to provide support for the health of
the skin.
1. An independent trial conducted
in February 2006 showed that out of 16 brands of fish oil, only two contained
peroxide values below the limit set by the European Pharmacopoeia after 1 month
of opening – Eskimo-3 and Eskimo Kids! Peroxides are created in oils on exposure
to oxygen in the atmosphere and are poisonous to the body.
2. A study by the Food Safety Authority in Ireland measured the cleanliness of a
range of different fish oils and Eskimo 3 was first place for overall purity.
3. In 2005 a study by the Food Standards Agency, Eskimo-3 was found to have
undetectable levels of the toxic heavy metal mercury.
4. Eskimo-3 comes from wild, deep-sea fish, not farmed fish.
