Nutri-West Chewable C-500 is a pleasant tasting tablet ideal for children or when looking for rapid absorption of vitamin C.
Vitamin C has been shown to be a potent antioxidant, especially in combination with beta carotene (which is converted by the body to vitamin A) and bioflavonoids.
Vitamin C plays a vital role in many immune mechanisms and is therefore vital for proper immune function.
Betacarotene is a precursor to vitamin A, which is found naturally in plants.
Vitamin A works synergistically with vitamin C to provide protection from oxidative damage.
Bioflavonoids, such as rutin and hesperidin, are antioxidants found especially in citrus fruit. They enhance the action of vitamin C.
The acerola cherry provides a very rich source of vitamin C.
