Brussels demands that we harmonise our supplements with Europe. Our members of Parliament must vote before 31 July 2003.

After that, it will be too late!

• Vitamin B6 above 10 milligrams   Banned!

• Vitamin C in safe higher doses     Banned!

• Boron for our bones    Banned!

• 300 safe supplements we've been using for years   Banned!

• Our right to protect our health   Banned!

The United Kingdom has a long tradition of freedom of choice of vitamin and mineral supplements that have been taken safely and beneficially over many years.

As you may be aware, the European Food Supplements Directive aims to remove hundreds of nutrients from the British market. Further, it is enforcing draconian reductions in the potencies of any remaining supplements.

Yet again, we are facing the severe downward harmonisation of regulations across the European Community - at the expense of the UK and its population. This is another European Directive which is not wanted and not needed.

Now we have only a couple of weeks left to persuade our Government to allow the UK to continue to market domestically those safe supplements that will be banned in continental Europe (and eventually in the USA!)
