Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil is rich in the Omega 3 essential fatty acid,
Alpha-Linolenic acid – typically 50-65%
It is also a good source of Omega 6
and Omega 9, and contains mixed tocopherols (especially gamma tocopherol) and
tocotrienols. Omega 3 and 6 support a healthy heart, arteries and brain. Fatty
acids make up the walls of every cell in the body and make hormone-like
substances, important for many important body processes. This beautiful, golden
oil is cold pressed and filtered. Cholesterol-free. Not suitable for cooking or
baking.
Suggested intake: Take 1-2
teaspoons (5-10ml) daily.
One teaspoon (5ml) typically
provides: 2890mg Alpha-Linolenic acid (Omega 3 EFA), 585mg Linoleic acid
(Omega 6 EFA), 720mg Monounsaturates (Omega 9 FA).
No added: Sugar, salt, starch,
soya, yeast, wheat, gluten, maize/corn, lactose, dairy products, artificial
preservatives, colours or flavourings.
