New
Flu strain increases concern in U.S.
|
Doctors in the United States have been
looking around for ways to combat the new and virulent strains of the
Flu virus.
They say we all need to be taking measures
to protect ourselves and our families in the face of this life threatening
virus that's predicted to take nearly twice as many lives as usual this
winter.
The following is an extract from the Dr
Sinatra Health Report:
"This new strain, called Flu A (H3N2)
Fujian, is startling to medical experts and private citizens alike.
Hearing stories of children who lost their young lives to this rampaging
virus was more than our hearts could bear, and evidence of just how
virulent this monster flu may be.
"It's certainly forboding to see so many
deaths as early as November. (2004)
"... This early flu epidemic has often
appeared initially as gastrointestinal symptoms in very young children.
For older children and adults, the muscle aches and pains, headache
and respiratory symptoms we usually associate with the flu virus predominate.
"This new strain of influenza, originating
in Australia and New Zealand, is evading this year's flu vaccine, rendering
it less protective than it's meant to be, although it may still lessen
symptoms somewhat.
"All of us need to be taking measures
to guard our health. The chief concern on everyone's minds, of course,
is what to do to protect ourselves and our families in the face of this
life-threatening virus that's predicted to take nearly twice as many
lives as usual this winter."
What is Noni?
Noni comes from the family Rubiaceae (making
it a relative of Samento and complimentary in use). The species Noni
has been used in Island Cultures for the past 2000 years.
Noni - Is called the "Sacred
Plant" by Polynesian Healers.
The following is a partial list of the
phytonutrients found in Noni.
Scopoletin: A little known, but
hard-working chemical component of Noni juice with many wonderful health
benefits. It is anti-inflammatory, anti-histamine, anti-fungal, and
anti-bacterial. It regulates serotonin, the body's "feel-good" hormone,
which helps to ward off feelings of anxiety and depression, and may
be why people who drink Noni juice often experience a sense of well-being.
It is a vasodilator and lowers blood pressure. It binds to melatonin
and helps to regulate sleep, hunger, and body temperature.
Polysaccharides: Important compounds
that stimulate and modulate the immune system and its response to cancer.
Polysaccharides profoundly influence anti-cancer activity on the molecular
level.
Selenium: An important anti-oxidant
and trace element found in Noni juice that preserves the skin's elasticity,
thus slowing the ageing process. Selenium also increases oxygen flow
to the heart and may prevent blood clotting and hypertension.
Anthraquinones (Damnacanthol):
Important antiseptic and anti-bacterial plant chemicals found in Noni
juice. They have been shown in laboratory tests to kill pre-cancer cells,
Lewis Lung carcinoma, and prevent DNA damage. They stimulate the immune
response to cancer by activating the body's T-cells, or "Cancer Killers".
T-cells are extremely important for people suffering from cancer, AIDS,
or other diseases which compromise the body's immune systems.
Glycosides: Newly discovered compounds
that prevent cancer and scavenge free radicals.
Terpene: Rejuvenates cells and
rids the body of toxins.
Limonene: A bitter cancer-fighting
compound commonly found in Noni juice and citrus fruits.

Noni Juice Concentrate
-
Concentrated support for
the
Immune System
|
"It (Noni) works
in 2 hours, please send us 10,000 bottles as soon as possible."
Recently a clinic in Bulgaria conducted
a two week study using Noni Concentrate to treat the common cold.
The clinic in Bulgaria reported, "It works in 2 hours, please send
us 10,000 bottles as soon as possible".
Doctors in the United States, faced
with a shortage of vaccine for the Flu - are turning to the best
of herbal remedies. Among them is a new potent
Noni Juice Concentrate,
now available here.
Dr Lee Cowden, of Dallas, has reported
stunning results with this new concentrated Noni Concentrate.
Wm. Lee Cowden, MD is a graduate
of University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He
did his internship and residency at St Louis University, Missouri
and has fellowships from St. Louis University in Critical Care and
Cardiology. Dr Cowden is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology
and Clinical Nutrition. He currently specializes in Integrative
Medicine.
Intensive courses of Noni Concentrate
- 9 doses over a period of 4 hours - have the effect of halting
these viruses in their tracks, according to Dr James Howenstine.
Dr James Howenstine is a board
certified specialist in internal medicine who spent 34 years caring
for office and hospital patients. After 4 years of personal study
he became convinced that natural products are safer, more effective,
and less expensive than pharmaceutical drugs. His book "A Physicians
Guide To Natural Health Products That Work" is available from Amazon.com.
In November 2004 Dr Howenstine said:
"...Nutramedix... has created a novel Noni juice concentrate which
is devoid of the unpleasant taste of the fruit. The concentration
of 8 liters of Noni fruit into one ounce of fluid concentrate greatly
magnifies the therapeutic effect. This results in dramatic cost
savings....Noni fruit is an incredible healing substance that
is quite valuable in treating many medical conditions including
pain, hypertension, allergies, skin diseases, diabetes, gout, digestive
disorders, infections (Noni is nicknamed Polynesian penicillin),
injuries, lung disease, high cholesterol, cancer and drug and nicotine
abuse.
He continues "In this era of man made
infections (HIV, Ebola, West Nile virus, Lyme Disease, SARS and
possibly the dispersion of anthrax) having Noni Concentrate in your
home could be life saving. If Noni is capable of killing the viral
organisms that cause colds and influenza there is reason to be optimistic
that it could cure the above mentioned infectious organisms. I strongly
urge everyone to consider keeping Noni concentrate in your medicine
cabinet."
Dr Howenstine continues "As a natural
substance Noni concentrate will not cause bacterial resistance and
the damage to the bacteria in the intestinal tract that always follows
antibiotic therapy. This loss of healthy intestinal bacteria to
antibiotic treatment causes injury to the immune system which may
explain why women who have received a course of antibiotic therapy
have a significantly higher incidence of breast cancer than women
not receiving antibiotic therapy. A group of 10,000 women, including
2,266 with breast cancer (Journal of the American Medical Association
Feb.18, 2004) were followed for 17 years in the Fred Hutchison Cancer
Research Center in Seattle. The women who had taken more than 25
prescriptions for antibiotics had twice the incidence of breast
cancer as women who took no antibiotics. Women who took fewer than
25 antibiotic prescriptions during this period had a 50% greater
incidence of breast cancer than the women who had never received
antibiotics. This immune system damage from loss of healthy bacteria
might produce an inability to kill tumour cells."
Related product
Samento.
These two products work particularly
well together, although they should be taken 30 minutes apart (i.e.
not in the same dose).
Scientific Studies
There are dozens of scientific studies
that have been published on the therapeutic health benefits of
Morinda citrifolia (Noni), especially with regard to its
remarkable anti-cancer and analgesic properties. A comprehensive
list of studies is being prepared at present and will be available
on this website in the near future.
