ELECTRO-MAGNETIC POLLUTION
PROBABLY CAUSES MORE HARM TO MAN THAN ALL OTHER FORMS OF POLLUTION PUT
TOGETHER . . .
We worry about what we can
see: The smoke; the acid rain; the dirty buildings; the polluted rivers.
Admittedly, these are all threats to our health, but we are more
intimately and constantly affected by invisible geopathic and man-made
environmental stresses. Things like:
Microwaves from TV
broadcasts, radar, satellites, aircraft landing systems.
Electro-magnetic fields
from power lines, underground cables, underground trains, house mains
circuits, electric motors, household appliances, fluorescent lights,
TV sets, computers and even battery operated watches.
Background levels of this
type of radiation have increased more than a thousand-fold this
century. The human body is good at adapting, but there are limits!
No treatment, orthodox or
complementary can work well if the body is being constantly bombarded
by EVS. Most therapists now realize this and insist on rectifying EVS
before starting treatment. If you have used any form of therapy with
disappointing results, EVS could well be the cause.
ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS
What is Environmental
Stress?
Our environment has become
a seething electro-magnetic smog, bombarding our senses and our bodies
every second of every day. Because electro-magnetic fields are invisible,
we don't even realize they are there, but they are battering us mercilessly.
Electro-magnetic fields
have always been part of the earth's environment. Resonances occur between
the earth's molten iron-nickel core and the charged gases of the ionosphere.
These pulse at definite frequencies (between 0.1 and 25Hz; mostly at
about 10Hz), and act as regulators for the biological time clocks of
all living creatures. If man, or any live animal or plant is totally
shielded from these fields for any length of time the result is discomfort,
disorientation, and even death. It has recently been shown that even
each cell-division is timed according to these pulses. When the first
astronauts were sent into space they returned suffering from the effects
of being deprived of these fields; all subsequent spacecraft have had
artificial field generators built in. These fields are generally called
Schumann waves, and are a normal healthy phenomenon of our planet. Man
evolved in electro-magnetic fields, and should be quite capable of handling
them. This remained true until this century. In the 20th century
alone, man has changed his electro-magnetic environment more than it
has changed in all time up until then. Estimates vary from 1000
times to billions of times, but one thing is sure:
ALL TYPES OF BACKGROUND
RADIATION HAVE INCREASED SO DRASTICALLY AND SO QUICKLY IN THE LAST FIFTY
YEARS THAT WE CAN NO LONGER HOPE TO COPE WITH THEM.
The human body is a master
at adaptation, but there are limits to which it can be pushed.
How do these stresses
affect my body?
The ultimate controlling
system in the body is the bioelectrical system. It controls the nerves,
the hormones, and even the chemical reactions. If your bioelectrical
system malfunctions, then sooner or later you will develop physical
symptoms, and possibly a chronic disease. It is the bioelectrical system
that is attacked by environmental stresses. Fortunately, the bioelectrical
system is good at repairing itself. If you live and work in an area
free from stresses, and then temporarily go into a heavily stressed
place, your bioelectrical system will be attacked; it will resist; and
when you leave the stressed place it will return to normal - no permanent
harm has been done. If on the other hand you spend a lot of time in
a stressed area, your biological system behaves rather like a tree in
a strong prevailing wind - it gives in and leans, and even when the
wind stops it continues to lean in that same direction.
THIS IS WHY IT IS SO
IMPORTANT TO ENSURE THAT WHERE YOU WORK, WHERE YOU SPEND MOST OF YOUR
LEISURE TIME, AND ESPECIALLY WHERE YOU SLEEP IS FREE FROM STRESS
It is not the purpose of
this article to prove that stresses affect your body; that has been
done time and time again in experiments and tests all over the world;
many of which have been written up in scientific papers and books. It
is however interesting to note in what way these tests have shown the
body to be influenced. The first signs are normally subjective: you
feel generally below par, more tired than usual, and possibly feel
depressed for no apparent reason. The next stage usually involves difficulty
with memory and concentration, and then sleep: either insomnia or heavy,
drugged, but unrefreshing sleep. At this stage a medical examination
normally reveals that there is "nothing wrong".
Various therapies are tried,
they should help, but they don't. Your body is not responding as it
should. It isn't surprising really, when you realize that your body
is devoting most of its vital energy to counteracting the stress, and
it has very little energy left with which to respond to the therapy.
Then, depending on what type of stress you are experiencing, different
chronic diseases may develop. Some of these will be mentioned when dealing
with the specific stresses involved. Most people living in "civilised"
countries today are affected by environmental stress; if no action is
taken to protect yourself then it is merely a matter of time before
symptoms begin to appear.
Where do stresses
come from?
This article briefly touches
on some of the major stresses. The following is by no means a full explanation
and the stresses covered are not exhaustive. It is convenient to divide
stresses into two types: natural and man-made.
Natural stresses
have been known about for thousands of years. The Ancient Chinese would
never contemplate building anywhere until the spot had been tested and
approved by a dowser. This was probably also true in the West: in a
recent survey of many ancient sites in Britain, none of the dwelling
houses was found to be over any harmful stress. More than we can say
of modern houses! Most animals instinctively avoid areas of stress.
Cats and ants are two of the few exceptions. The most well known natural
stress is
Water Stress, caused
by either an underground stream or pocket of water in a cavity. Water
stress is what is known as a DISCHARGING STRESS. It actually draws energy
from you, depleting your vitality. It travels straight upwards, so someone
sleeping on the third floor of a building over a water stress is just
as liable to suffer as someone on the ground floor. Some sources say
that discharging stresses cause a reversal of spin oscillation in the
protein molecules.
MOST CHRONIC DEGENERATIVE
DISEASES OR ENERGY DEFICIENT STATES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH SLEEPING OVER
A DISCHARGING STRESS
Typical examples of these
complaints are depression, digestive disorders, urinary tract diseases
(including recurrent infections), respiratory tract infections, multiple
sclerosis, arthritis, cancer and leukaemia. In Germany and Holland,
as far back as fifty years ago, some doctors recognised that there is
a definite connection with sleeping over a discharging stress and developing
cancer; in fact this led to some houses being labeled "cancer houses".
Another natural source of stress is
Leylines. These are
lines of earth energy flowing from point to point on the earth's surface.
Many old churches, stone circles, and sites of religious significance
are built on the intersections of leylines. This has led to the common
belief that leylines are all "good". In fact many are powerful emitters
of charging stress. It is quite significant that our ancestors chose
to build their places of worship on intersections of leylines, but
never their dwellings. Nowadays we totally ignore them, and many
of us live and work on them. As with any source of power, a moderate
amount may be good for you, but too much is definitely bad. It is also
a common mistake to think of a few leylines criss-crossing the country
side: there are literally thousands of them. Leylines can often be seen
as "lines" across the country side or garden where the vegetation is
sparse and appears to be struggling or even absent. Hedges have thin
spots; trees are smaller than their peers.
CHARGING STRESS tends to
attack the right hemisphere of the brain, actually causing a build up
of excess energy in the body. Thus HYPER- and ENERGY EXCESS states develop.
Examples of complaints are headaches, migraines, epilepsy, fatigue,
learning difficulties, memory disorders, hyper-activity, heart and circulation
diseases, depression and mood swings.
Other natural stresses include
THE CURRY GRID and HARTMANN
NET: These are both well documented grid-shaped lines of energy all
over the earth's surface. The Hartmann Net runs N-S and E-W; the Curry
Grid diagonally, each line carrying an opposite charge to those on either
side of it. Problems occur where two lines of similar polarity cross,
or even more so, where similar of both grid systems intersect.
CARRYING A CHARGED
CARD PERSONAL ANTI-STRESSOR HAS BEEN FOUND TO BLOCK THE BAD EFFECTS
OF ALL THE ABOVE NATURAL STRESSES
Man-made stresses
are nowadays an even greater problem than the natural ones. With care,
the natural stresses can be avoided; man-made stresses are far more
pervasive and damaging. It is doubtful whether there is any place on
the earth's surface that is free from man-made stress. The whole atmosphere
is a seething mass of radio waves, television waves, and radar. It would
be naive to think that all of these waves can pass through your body
24 hours a day without having some effect on it. It is easy to show
that your own field is interacting with these others. Place a portable
radio on a table and tune it to a fairly weak FM (VHF) station. Leave
it there, and move around the room. You should be able to hear the reception
change as you move, showing that even though you feel nothing physically,
you are interacting with the radio waves. Obviously, this is happening
all the time, whether you have a radio turned on or not - the waves
are always there.
Most man-made stresses have
both charging and discharging components, which means that they can
cause virtually any disease. Most of us would be wary of living right
under a National Grid powerline: we can see the danger. But are you
aware that while you are sitting in front of a cosy log fire in your
country cottage, miles from the nearest pylon, that you are literally
surrounded by man-made stresses? The RING-MAIN wiring in the walls is
pulsing at 50Hz (one of the most harmful frequencies to the human body);
less than 15 feet away may be an IMMERSION HEATER generating an electro-magnetic
stress, in the kitchen is a FLUORESCENT LIGHT, a MICROWAVE OVEN and
a POP-UP TOASTER, all excellent sources of man-made stresses. The TELEVISION
in the sitting room and the COMPUTER in the study are both major sources
of charging stress - computers give off seven different types of stress.
How much does the popularity of TV nowadays contribute towards hyperactive
children and insomniac, highly-strung adults? These are just a few of
the "essential" home comforts of nowadays that are slowly and almost
imperceptibly causing immense health problems.
There are many other common
sources of stress. To list but a few: electrostatic damp courses, burglar
alarm systems, ultrasonic rodent deterrents, electronic organs, stereo
equipment (especially digital CD players), telephones (especially cellular),
CB radios, electric blankets, fuse boxes, central heating controllers
and infra-red remote control units.
Anything which uses electricity
for its operation generates a field, whether it be AC or DC. Alternating
currents are in general more harmful because they pulse. But did you
know that many battery driven apparently DC items use alternating
currents in their circuits? Most liquid crystal digital wrist watches
use alternating current to drive the display: you are strapping a portable
AC stress generator to your wrist (one of the most sensitive parts of
your body with regard to subtle fields) and carrying it around all day.
More and more work is being
done all over the world (especially in the USSR) on the effects of electro-magnetic
fields and microwaves on living cells. Even 15 years ago, most Western
scientists would have steadfastly maintained that there were NO harmful
effects. At last the situation is changing though, and some (but not
enough) notice is being taken of this problem. It is significant that
in the USSR, where this research is far ahead of the West, safety levels
set for microwave and electro-magnetic radiation are very much more
stringent - in some cases stipulating levels A THOUSAND TIMES LESS than
ours do. In the West we have two options: either wait until something
is done about it one day, or DO SOMETHING TO HELP YOURSELF NOW.
The part of the body which
suffers most from this constant attack is the IMMUNE SYSTEM. Everyone
can see how immune system diseases are becoming more and more common.
Your immune system is your main protection against all forms of external
attack; if it is constantly suppressed by environmental stress, your
chances of a healthy life are greatly reduced. We do not claim that
EVS is the only thing attacking the immune system, but it certainly
is a major factor.
